Bordeaux Fine Wine Gift

Get to know: Bordeaux Fine Wine Gift

Description

A fine Bordeaux red wine. Château Biac has become a rising star of Côtes de Bordeaux, a unique area with a diversity of terroir that allows the winemaker flexibility to create a wine from a rich pallette. Owner Gabriel Asseily relates his wine to music and calls this their Chamber Orchestra. It is a blend borne from the same plots as their firs wine, Château Biac, but with a view to being drunk more readily. This is the perfect gift for a serious Bordeaux lover, presented in a wooden gift box. This wine can be enjoyed now or aged for a few more years in the cellar.

Kate Says

"Chateau Biac was highly recommended to us by a trusted source and we've since absolutely fallen for the lovely Lebanese family who owns it. Their wines are modern takes on that classic savoury style of Bordeaux and this is ready to enjoy now so make an excuse to invite friends over and treat yourself."

What's Inside?

B de Biac 2016, 14.5%, France

Complex aromas of black cherry, ripe plum, blackberry and a subtle hint of cedar and graphite, classic of Merlot-led Bordeaux. On the palate, it’s medium- to full-bodied with a rich core of dark fruit, supple, well-integrated tannins and a generous mid-palate without any heaviness. The finish is smooth, fresh and quietly persistent, making this a polished Bordeaux red that’s drinking beautifully now while still holding structure.
