Domaine Christian Moreau Chablis Grand Cru Valmur 2023 is an elegant, mineral-driven Chardonnay that delivers both precision and quiet power. Pale gold in colour with green flecks, it shows refined aromas of citrus peel, white peach, crushed stone and a subtle hint of hazelnut. On the palate, this Chablis Grand Cru is focused and layered, combining ripe orchard fruit with a firm core of acidity and classic Kimmeridgian limestone minerality. It finishes long and saline, with a fine, chalky texture that lingers beautifully. A serious, ageworthy white Burgundy that still offers real pleasure in its youth.

Domaine Christian Moreau is one of the oldest and most respected producers in Chablis, with a family history dating back to 1814. Today, Fabien Moreau has taken the estate to the very top tier through meticulous organic viticulture and an unwavering focus on expressing Chablis’ unique terroir. Working exclusively with estate-grown fruit from some of the region’s greatest sites, including Valmur, the domaine produces wines renowned for their purity, depth and longevity.

• Hand-harvested from 1 hectare in two blocks on both sides of Valmur. 55-year-old vines.
• Careful pressing to retain finesse and clarity
• 50% barrel fermented.
