Get to know: Voyatzi Winery, Xinomavro

Tasting Note

Ktima Voyatzi Xinomavro is a bold and expressive red from the foothills of Greece’s Pieria Mountains. On the nose, it boasts aromas of ripe red berries, subtle spices, earthy tones, and hints of wild herbs and flowers. On the palate, it’s vibrant, with a harmonious balance of bold flavours, lively acidity, and a smooth finish that lingers with dried berry notes.

Pair it with grilled lamb, rich moussaka, or a hearty mushroom risotto to complement its earthy, fruity character.

Kate Says

“This Xinomavro is a real gem - bursting with character and depth but still so drinkable. I love how the flavours unfold with every sip, from the bright red berries to those earthy, herbal undertones. It’s the kind of wine that makes any meal feel special. I'd enjoy it with grilled lamb chops and a fattoush salad”
